This was the first time lazy sunday radio started using video. The system works as follows: someone streams music from his home to the guy who does the visuals, and from there it gets sent to the lazy sunday stream.
Lasse from effekts.dk joined us in Barcelona a couple of days before the sunday, and we prepared this visuals system to use there. It features awesome effects and a lovely way to control them via little laptop with max/msp used as a remote control. Neq had also prepared a custom visuals system controlled
An event for this was hosted at Niu in Barcelona. The lineup was nice and worldwide, as usual. The flyer and the original website were made by seaconnect/fthr/kschzt.
Music: tpolm dj’s (not confirmed), seaconnect (barcelona), fiilin and hentta (helsinki), blamstrain (helsinki), sushi brother (gothenburg), dj fibla (barcelona), alex martin (barcelona), max waters (london), proem (austin)
Visuals: effekts.dk v fiilin v fthr (bcn), trace / xplsv (london), neq (paris), jugi / katastro.fi (helsinki)

This isn’t a Lazy Sunday set, but apparently an improvised liveset streamed from A16 labs in 2002. The details of this are hazy to me. If you remember anything, please comment. It sounds like a bunch of people jamming on various synths/drum machines/computers. Thanks to PS for supplying the recording.

The first ever Lazy Sunday Radio was held in April of 2001. Probably on the sunday 22nd, but I can’t be sure. The original website says it was sponsored by the Guinness Book of World Records. The lineup was: DJ Brothomstates, DJ Klmnopoly, DJ Johann Schmidt, DJ MK10, DJ Ph4n771, Kschzt vs Twff and A.Jädertpolm quartet.
This event was held at A16 labs in Helsinki. Unfortunately audio recording of this session doesn’t survive, atleast we don’t have it. If you DO have it, please contact us at tpolm@tpolm.org or via twitter. Thanks!
